July Revisited - Reviews, Upcoming Events & Destined to be Devoured

The first installment of Sordid Fantasy's monthly revisits....

I've been on a Nalini Singh Psy-Changeling binge during the month of July. Four books down, four to go. My attention then got diverted doing up my review for and Falling, Fly. Soon to return though....

I'm venturing out into new series and genres, flexing out my reading zones and greeting the horizon that accompanies them. Does this mean I'm going to love everything I've got lined up? Hell no. Though I am liking what I've picked up so far.

In summation: more paranormals with a splash of a certain dark erotica and urban fantasy. The combination of some familiar works and new.

My aims: more books devoured, more books reviewed.  More variety on subjects to post.... and this is where I need your input people.

The Darkest Lie by Gena Showalter.

A compelling mixture of hurt and surrender, The Darkest Lie is the sixth novel to date within the Lords of the Underworld series. A complex tangle of high stakes and revelations, both heroine and hero wrest with the gift and curse of knowledge, bonded by an unseen connection. Plot lines are interweaved throughout the series as a whole and the romance delivered took a back-burner to the storyline. One PR that's a must read for any Lord lover.
